Alain Orsot joined France Telecom Orange in 2004 and is in charge of the High-Definition VoIP devices projects. His area of responsibility covers the launching of HD Voice terminals, from the first devices commercialized by Orange in 2006 to the incoming CAT-iq terminals. In regards of his position, Alain has been a promoter of a standard solution for DECT-based HD phones and is also acting as a facilitator for CAT-iq adoption in the home environment.

Prior to joining Orange, Alain held several positions in research and development, consultancy, pre-sales and operationnal support, both within the industry and the operators.

Alain holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Communications Engineering and has 15 years experience in telecommunications.
