After a engineer degree in electrical engineering from Grenoble Institute of Technology (INPG), Philippe joined Orange Labs in 2000 in the mobile services department where he was leading the mobile Java effort. In 2004, he joined the Home business unit in charge of fixed devices & Livebox standard strategy. At the same time, Philippe participated to the creation of the HGI in 2004, and he is chair of business group of HGI since then. He has been involved in the development of HGI business requirements for gateway & home network together with major operators in Europe and Japan.

Since 2007, he has been appointed as head the Broadband & Home Network standard team within Orange Strategic Office looking at all broadband & home standard development. Through its work, Philippe has been involved in the definition of various home network standards including HGI, DECT CAT-iq, ETSI DECT,  UPnP, DLNA, Homeplug… His primary interest is business development of broadband services through standards.
